About Lozen
Guaranteed to put a smile on your face!
Little Lozen – she loves life and nothing makes her happier than some sunshine. She loves to lie in the Sun and can be seen doing this for a large portion of these winter days. Lozen is also a very playful little girl who likes to do little zoomies around the yard and play with sticks and leaves that she finds along the way. She likes to chase toys that you wiggle along the ground in front of her so that she can pounce on them with her cute little feet. Lozen likes to curl up in your lap for naps, even better if your sitting in the sun with her, or lie against you on the lounge. She is a delightful pup who warms your heart.
Lozen enjoys the company of other dogs and plays with the other puppies she is in care with. She has also been socialised with adult dogs of varying sizes and ages, and she gets along with them all (as long as they don’t squish her!). Lozen mostly enjoys being with one of our other dogs Musk who will have a gentle game with her and let Lozen snuggle up with her for naps.
Everything we’ve said so far makes her sound like a completely normal pup, and for the most part she is; however, Lozen does suffer from some form of neurological issue. Thankfully for her this seems to have a very minimal effect on her life. When you hang out with Lozen for a while you will notice she sometimes runs in circles, particularly when she’s excited, and these circles are always to the right. We also find that although Lozen is responsive to light and does not walk into things, she doesn’t seem to be able to focus in on objects which you notice when she looks at you. Lozen is not fazed by any of this in her life.
Lozen does come for trips to the dog park with the rest of the pack and she runs around having fun with everyone, we just make sure no one squishes her and carry her when we go for a bush walk. She has been learning to sit and walk on a lead while in care so she has the capacity to learn. Lozen is also learning to take herself outside to go to the toilet which is going well. She travels well in the car and sleeps through the night in her bed. It is still important that Lozen is given training and socialisation just like any other puppy so that she grows up with good doggy manners.
We are looking for a special home for this special little girl. Lozen should be a part of the family and allowed inside so that she can be with the family. Any other dogs in the household should be calm but playful, and if there are no other dogs then someone should be home most of the time to give Lozen the attention that she deserves. She will require daily activity in the form of walks and playtime, and she must have a warm bed inside to sleep on at night. We think that Lozen would be best suited to a quieter home without young children and where someone was able to give her lots of love.
If you think you can offer this gorgeous girl her forever home then please let us now by filling in an application on our website.
Medical notes
As mentioned in her profile, Lozen has some form of neurological issue that is not having a large impact on her life and does not require medication.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
