About Coco ~ lovely kelpie x puppy (On Trial 17/9/17)
Hi, my name is Coco! I am a 9 week old kelpie x puppy. I am an active girl who loves cuddles.
Because I am a Kelpie X, I am very smart and I need an active, inclusive family as my furever home.
I can already sit and use a dog door. I am trying hard to be house trained. I’m a quick learner and I’d love to do more training with my forever family.
I get on with other dogs. I love to play and run around the backyard, tackle and play with my brother Cooper. I love to cuddle and would love to stay with my brother, if possible, because I love cuddling and exploring with him. Cooper is also available for adoption.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for me. If you don't have another dog to keep me company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time. I need to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown.
As I am not yet desexed, I am only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because I'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when I’m approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet me, please email my foster mum Kate at kate.broekman07@gmail.com. I am in care at Mirrabooka, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle).
Coco's adoption fee is $550 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
Happy and healthy puppy.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
