Bodhi

I’m Bodhi, a 4 year old gentleman. I’m not offended if you call me middle aged because I am more mature now and no longer do those crazy puppy antics. I used to bounce a lot but now I’m fairly mellow and prefer to hang out with my humans rather than go crazy at the dog park. Of course I need my daily walk and do well on lead, passing by other dogs with minimal fuss. If I did find a family on property then I’d happily forgo an on lead walk to accompany you working your property.

Company is important to me whether it be another dog, ideally a female or possibly another super easy going male happy to accept a big boy like me. I live with cats quite happily and with a little time getting to know another feline, I think that would be fine.

I don’t mind kids but haven’t really lived with them, I just know the grandkids that come to visit. The kids I know are good kids and don’t frighten me. If I had the choice I’d probably prefer no kids now that I’m happy to chill out more. Affection is my middle name. I’m a real lover and take most delight in just being with my humans. I most certainly will need to maintain all my comforts of inside living with big soft bedding. A little secret about me is that I am actually a lap dog and if you’ll let me, I’ll plonk my butt right on your lap to achieve maximum cuddles.

I can get unsure around new people if they rush at me but so long as I have a little time to get comfortable with new people I’m definitely up for their pats too. I really hope there is a Great Dane experienced home out there looking for me to love.
