About Milly
Milly is a sweet, sensitive soul who unfortunately hasn't had the best start to life. Although she is now learning what it's like to be loved, this was something foreign to her before arriving in care. Milly was never socialised with other dogs and cats either and has no idea about dog etiquette when meeting new friends.
Milly will sit and shake before getting her dinner or treats and is non shedding. She is also crate trained and will happily stay in there for some quiet time and sleeps through the night.
In the past few weeks, Milly has shown that her behaviour can change....she wants to be loved, it just takes some time for her to trust. She does accept females more so than males which is obviously due to the previous abuse she endured. Given that the only form of touch by humans, was abusive touch, she's certainly enjoying the love she is now being shown, but still uncertain at times.
We are hoping to find her a foster home where she can continue to grow and understand that she can trust her humans again and meet new friends in a friendly way. Ideally, we are looking for a quiet home with no young children or other animals. We would not rule out a home with 1 other dog, but you must be dog savvy and understand that introducing her to your own dog would be a slow process.
If you think you may be the right person to help with Milly's rehabilitation, please contact us via email. We are looking for someone around Glenning Valley or Hamlyn Terrace on the Central Coast, NSW so that our full support can be offered. Milly will be booked in for desex next week.

Adoption details
At this stage, we are looking for a foster home for Milly, not necessarily an adoption. If you feel that you may have the right environment to help this girl learn all about what it's like to be loved, then we would love to hear from you. Please email us some info about what you can offer Milly and we will be happy to give you a call to discuss.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
