About Lucky
Young Lucky is very Lucky indeed. After being stolen from the Echuca Pet Shop when is was just a wee pup, Lucky many months later was found wandering and brought in to the shelter. Thanks to Lucky being microchipped we were able to contact the pet shop and end the mystery of Lucky's whereabouts. Now that Lucky has been given a check over by the vets and desexed he is ready to find a new safe permanent place to call home.
Lucky is an extremely active young man who needs plenty of training, exercise and mental stimulation to help prevent him from becoming bored and destructive. Secure high fences and a roomy yard are also vital to help this young man safe.
Adoption details
Taking on a pet is a long-term commitment. Before adopting it is essential to research what type of animal would best suit your home and lifestyle.
All animals waiting for a new home can be found on the shelter website, or by visiting the shelter in person. All animals available for adoption are ready to be adopted straight away.

In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Campaspe Animal Shelter is making some operational changes, in place from Friday, 27 March.
Our team of staff and volunteers will continue to care for all animals at the shelter. Access to our services will now be by appointment only:
- Adoptions
Monday to Friday we will have two sessions a day available
10am – 12pm and 2pm – 4pm
Saturday and Sunday
10am – 12pm
- All other services such as, surrenders, stray animals, reclaims and microchipping
o Monday to Thursday 10am – 6pm
o Friday 10am – 4.45pm
o Saturday 9am – 1pm
o Sunday and public holidays 10am – 12.30pm
