About Ruby
Location: Hervey Bay
Ruby has just come into our care after a long stint at the pound. This darling girl kept getting overlooked and needed to get out of the cage. Now that we have her in a normal home environment and have become to know her properly, we just cannot understand why this lovely girl hasn't been snapped up yet!
Ruby LOVES getting kisses and cuddles and will sit, shake hands and lay down. She likes to be a part of the family so beach, car, chilling out fishing, she's there with a wagging tail. One of Ruby's favourite things to do is go swimming at the beach. Ruby is house trained and is great with other dogs and all people, though because of her size and the power of her tail when it is wagging, little kids may need to be careful they don't get a happy tail in the face.
Currently, Ruby is still learning a couple manners that have been forgotten in the pound, but is learning very quickly. If you think you have a Ruby sized spot in your life, please get in contact!
Medical notes
Ruby has been micro-chipped. Transfer of details upon adoption.
Adoption details
Fraser Coast Animal Rescue house all our dogs in care with foster carers in family homes. This allows the dogs to experience life in family situations with other dogs, cats, children, chooks and various other domestic animals. This gives us an opportunity to discover their traits and personalities, likes and dislikes, and which dogs would suit which family dinamics.
We offer a 14 day trial period for all potential adoptees so they can see if the dog they have chosen is a fit with their family situation. Their is a $50 refundable deposit paid on the commencement of the trial period, which comes off the balance of the adoption fee should you wish to formally adopt your chosen dog. If you decide that the dog doesn't fit with your family, the dog will be retured into foster care, and the full balance of the deposit is refunded to you with no fees or charges.
If you wish to arrange a meet and greet with one of our dogs in care, please call Caitlyn on 0455 551 036 or email caitlyn.hulse@hotmail.com
The committee and carers of Fraser Coast Animal Rescue are all volunteers, so please be patient with us if we dont answer your enquiries straight away.
