About Maya
Sweet little Miss Maya is just too adorable. Look at that smiling face! As you can see, this darling girl has made lots of friends in foster care - she is great with dogs and other cats and is living with 3 children whome she loves to cuddle with.
Maya has come a LONG way in care and we are so very proud of her. She was a terrified little ball of hissing fuzz when she was left all alone at the pound. But lots of gentle, patient handling and TLC she has bloomed like a gorgeous rose into the happy and friendly kitten you see today. Maya's new family will be understanding, welcoming cat lovers who know that in a new environment, a kitten like Maya needs lots of time to settle and adapt. She will probably regress in the beginning and may do lots of hiding while she finds her feet and learns to feel safe again. Maya would definitely benefit from a home with a friendly cat or dog who can be her playmate and companion. Although she is living with children, Maya is not suited to tiny tots or kids who want an instant best friend. Patient, calm older children will build a tremendous bond with this amazing little cat.
If you think you can offer Maya all the love she needs and want to reap the reward of a wonderful feline companion, get in touch today.
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
