Jesse

Jesse is a delightful and enthusiastic little dog. He’s a real people’s dog and loves to be near you whatever you are doing. Jesse loves to curl up on the couch, bed or wherever you happen to be and sit with you. He appears to be fairly accustomed to being on the couch or bed and doesn’t wait for an invitation so a home where he’s allowed on the couch with you will be most suited to him. He sleeps quietly in the ensuite overnight, but would much prefer to be right there in bed with you or on the couch if he had it his way.
Jesse will follow you around the house/garden wherever you go and if he’s not right behind you he’s never far off. He has a real enthusiasm for being involved and seems to operate at two speeds – flat out when you’re on the move or asleep beside you when you’ve stopped.
Jesse is good with children, cats and dogs. He loves to be the center of attention and will include himself in time spent playing with his foster cat and dog siblings, so if you’ve got a pet that’s likely to get jealous or upset with this he may not suit.
Jesse also goes a little crazy for cat toys and is inclined to chew them up, but he's much gentler with his dog toys. He probably wouldn’t be too fussed as to whether or not he goes to a home with or without other animals.
Jesse loves a walk and is great on the lead, he trots happily along beside you and will often look up to check your still with him. He doesn’t too much mind if it’s not a regular walk so long as you’re with him he’s pretty happy.
Jesse has been living with chickens and doesn’t seek them out but will have a rush at them if they’re along the fence line when he’s nearby. He’s great in the car and lies down to sleep once he’s in.
Jesse is only a small framed little fellow so throughout the cold weather has been inside whenever someone’s home and he generally wears a coat most of the time for extra warmth. He’s used to his foster carers going off to work during the day whilst he spends the time outside and is absolutely thrilled to have you home! He’s really is such a happy little soul and will make such a wonderful addition to the right home.
