Hi! I’m Charlie. I’m on the smaller side of medium, weighing in at close to 10kg. The rangers at the pound said I have a lovely nature, so they contacted SAFE to help me find a new home. I’m out of the pound now and loving being in my new foster home. They look after me really well. I’ve been to the vet already. Thank goodness that’s all over. When I’m more settled in my foster home, I’m having more photos taken and they’ll write about my personality.

I have a lot to learn - like walking on that horrible lead thingy. Although lately we’ve been going to nice places when I’m on it - not that vet place anymore. I hope you have lots of chew toys that you can swap around for me. Being a pup, one of the most important ways that I learn about the world is through my mouth. And some of us do this for longer than others. So a big smoked bone, kongs and things to keep my mind working and my mouth occupied are a must for me if you have to leave me while you’re at work. If you always remove your hand and then offer me a chew toy instead, I’ll remember that I mustn’t nibble at hands. So I think it would better if I’m not with younger children, as they might forget to do that.

If you live far away, a few hours in a plane is absolutely worth it to me if I have the opportunity to be adopted. Then we can have love and fun together!
