About AC0308 – Simba
~*FOSTER OR FOSTER VIEW TO ADOPT*~
AC0308 – Simba
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Tabby
DOB: 29/05/2012
Medical Notes: Vet checked, sterilised, vaccinated, flea treated and wormed. FIV and leukaemia negative.
Nature
Simba was saved from euthanasia and came into our care as undomesticated on 31 May 2015. She has been a slow learner in trusting humans. She was confined for three months with hissing, growling and spitting but not attacking. One day, she asked to be let out of her crate and since then never intended to go back to it. She is now more relaxed around her foster mum.
Progress
Simba is still very wary of humans but will allow quick pats when eating or playing. She does not like her face to be touched yet. She enjoys the company of the other cats but is not very keen on kittens and dogs. She cannot be handled yet so it will take a while to put her into a carrier. She doesn’t like loud noise such as the vacuum cleaner. Simba hides when there’s other people are around and hisses when cornered, but she loves lying down on her foster mum’s bed at a distance. She will jump off the bed if her foster mum gets too close otherwise she doesn’t mind her on the bed with her at all. Simba comes out for food or toys otherwise she will hide under the bed or inside a tunnel. She enjoys having wet food morning and night, and biscuits throughout the day. Given time and patience, she will flourish and trust humans.
