About Rory
Rory is a sweet little man who has found his recent moves a little confusing.
Once he has had some time to settle and feel safe he will happily follow you around.
Rory was living with another dog in his previous home but due to his confusion, for the time being he will be better to a home without another dog so he doesn't feel the need to compete for his people's attention.
A home where his foster carers will be home a lot will be perfect for Rory as he is not used to spending his days alone. Being with his people throughout the day will help him feel more relaxed and help him settle in as quickly as possible.
While he has been in our care, Rory has been living a mainly indoor lifestyle which he is very pleased about. He is toilet trained and will head outside when he needs to. He will be best suited to a foster home with older children/grandchildren who understand the every dog needs their space, especially while they are settling in to their new environment. He will be best suited to a foster home who are happy to offer him a bed inside overnight where he can feel warm and safe.
This little cutie is quite well mannered and will try and do what is asked of him. He will enjoy lots of attention once he feels comfortable with his new people.
Rory will be best suited to a home with NO CATS as he does have a disliking towards them.
If you believe you have a comfortable place in your home for this senior boy until he is ready to find his new family, please send us a message and we will be in touch shortly.
Rory is currently in Gembrook, VIC
Medical notes
Rory requires some vet work before he will be available for adoption
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
