Chippy

Hi there, I'm Chippy. Now that I've caught your attention with my sweet face and cute pokey out tongue, let me tell you about self! I am a very sweet little old man, who is totally chilled and content to sleep alot and have lots of pats. My life has been a little hard, I have been passed around and my last owners gave me up after having me for three years (I can't understand why, as I am no trouble at all!) I'm now looking forward to a bright future with my new forever people! I have a great appetite and I'm looking forward to a quiet home with lots of yummy food. I have a a few missing teeth so I prefer soft meals. My health is good for my age and I am still active, loving short walks. I prefer to be with people, so someone who is home a lot would be just perfect for me. I am not an escape artist at all, but given that I am quite little, good fencing (no gaps) would be preferable. I am definitely an inside dog and love to snuggle up in your bed at night. I like other dogs but am not fussed if I'm your one and only. If not I'd prefer to live with a smaller dog who isn't too full on. I haven't met any cats or kids lately so not sure if I like them or not, but I'm so very chilled, I can't imagine that I wouldn't. I think someone in my past was rough with me, because I flinch a little if someone touches me unexpectedly, but LOVE belly rubs and lots of pats. I'm very smart, and like to observe what's going on and then adapt to new situations accordingly. I'm not clingy and like to sit and think on my own sometimes (still making sure you are close by out of the corner of my eye 😉, but am very happy to snuggle up on your lap and watch tv with you too.
