About Kayla
Beautiful Kayla is a 10 month old Doberman x who is looking forward to settling in to her forever home with a loving family.
Kayla is a super sweet girl who is very calm for her young age. Kayla loves to snuggle and is a total love bug with affection once she gets to know you and trust you.
She loves gentle play with people and seems to get along well with other dogs - however she would be best to be rehomed with a calmer dog as boisterous dogs and rough play do scare her. Kayla appears to be good with cats and we believe she would be able to be rehomed with an existing cat.
Kayla knows her name and will always come when called. She is learning "sit" and although she hasn't quite mastered that command, she will wait patiently when asked. Kayla is very food motivated and this combined with her young age and eagerness to please should make training a breeze. We have also included 3 x free training lessons in her adoption fee.
Although Kayla is gaining confidence as each day passes, she is fearful of loud noises and sudden movements. She will need to be allowed inside during thunderstorms and fireworks so that she knows she is safe.
Kayla will cry and run away when she is too roughly handled and for this reason, we recommend that she not be rehomed with very young children who may not understand her timidness.
We are unsure of Kayla's past before coming to us, however she will require a home with a patient and loving owner who will help her to regain her confidence and let her true wonderful personality shine through. When unsure she will look to her human that she trusts for direction.
Kayla came into care very underweight and although her weight is improving, it is understandable that she still does gulp food. We recommend a go slow bowl. Her eating habits should improve once she is settled into a home environment and her weight is where it should be.
Kayla is a very special girl who has had a rough start to her short life and is now waiting to start her next chapter where she can learn all about what love and family truly means.
Kayla would love to be in a home where she is included as a member of the family and is involved in the day to day activities. Kayla will thrive in an environment that guides her with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
This incredibly stunning young girl will make a loyal companion and wonderful addition to a lucky family.
Kayla's adoption fee is $430 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Delilah is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
