About George
Please meet George - the most uncomplicated dog you will ever come across! George is a 3 year old Greyhound, who is looking forward to finding his very own forever home.
George is a perfect gentleman. He is sweet, well mannered and loyal with just enough playfulness to bring a smile to your face each time you look at him. He loves every human he meets and although he is yet to meet any small dogs, he is great with medium and large sized dogs and can't wait to meet new friends.
George enjoys his walks and has perfect lead manners. He is yet to gain his green collar and so will be required to wear a greyhound muzzle when out in public - however we have no doubt that he will pass his green collar assessment with flying colours.
George does get a little excited when heading out for a walk - he would never dream of pulling on the lead, but he has a little bunny hop that he likes to do to let you know he is ready for his walk and eager to spend time with you.
He shows no signs of food aggression or seperation anxiety, however he can be a little fearful of loud noises and we would recommend he be allowed inside in a safe place during thunder storms and fireworks.
While George loves to play with his toys, he is a very gentle boy with a quiet disposition. He is happy to sit with you while you are pottering around in the yard and is just as happy for a stroll around the neighbourhood or to a dog park. As like most greyhounds, George would love to curl up with you when the day is over for a movie or some tv.
George is house trained.
George would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family and is involved in the day to day activities. George will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
This incredibly handsome young guy will make a loyal companion and wonderful addition to a lucky family.
George's adoption fee is $375 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. George is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
