Lucia

Little Lucia has been with us since she was a tiny baby kitten and we just fall in love with her more and more everyday. Lucia is affectionate, fun, playful and energetic and everything you’re looking for in the perfect feline companion. Lucia would be happy to laze around all day whilst you’re not home and enjoy your company when you come home from work, snuggling with you and playing with her toys. Lovely Lucia is totally adorable and impeccable in every way, but she has just two flaws, she is a cat flu carrier and she is deaf. This just means that Lucia is susceptible to developing cat flu like symptoms throughout her life. Such symptoms would be watery eyes and sneezing. Cat flu is a viral infection that is a lot like the human cold, and Lucia is a carrier of this infection making the symptoms more likely to flare up. Lucia can live a very normal happy life, does not need ongoing medication or veterinary attention and is already desexed and ready to go. Cat flu cannot be passed onto humans or dogs however it can be passed onto other cats, so a single cat home for Lucia will be the best bet. Due to the fact Lucia is also deaf, a low stress environment and home is what she needs, and a home that is strictly indoors only, she would benefit from being the only animal in the house and also with no small children. We’re wishing for someone to come into the shelter to give Lucia the chance she deserves, to get her out of here and into a loving home to flourish into the wonderful mature feline she is destined to be.
