What a stunner.
Chief came into care a little while ago and couldn't believ that no one claimed him. He is very handsome and has a beautiful nature.
He is lab x mastiff , although he looks more lab and is about the size of a labb, and around 2yrs but still behaves like a puppy sometimes. There is a video of him playing in the water at the hume weir on our facebook page. He really is a character,,
He knows sit and wants to shake but I think he has been taught to shake with both paws., but not sure about that as he wants to please but seems a bit confused.
He loves his walks and walks well on the lead, and off lead he is great. His recall is getting a lot better .He loves the car , loves food and loves company. He is good with female dogs and has been introduced to a few male dogs and he has been good but slow introduction would be a must until you get to know him. He has been around a cat too and just ignored it. . He loves to play with toys and will play with other dogs but will resource guard. Chief can be quite protective of his yard so no strangers will get in.
He will need good fences as he can jump farm fencing..
Chief is just a lovely boy and would be a great addition to a active family that will take him wherever they go . Outings, camping, swimming and holidays. Chief will be rehomed to the most suitable for him, not just the first to apply
