About Puddles ~ Maltese X (on trial 25/8/17)
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION: Puddles
Introducing Puddles! A gorgeous, Maltese X male, who is 7 years young.
Puddles has a beautiful, kind hearted nature and loves nothing more than to snuggle up on the lounge with you. He is a very loyal companion and will follow you wherever you go.
Puddles loves cars and he would love to go for car rides with his new family. He likes other dogs but didn't get a pleasure of meeting a cat yet, so we are not sure if they would be friends.
Due to Puddles' low shedding coat he will need regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep him comfortable and beautiful.
Puddles likes to spend time inside and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. He is not a nuisance barker but will let you know if there's someone at the door.
Puddles is a perfect lap dog who would best suit a retired person or someone with older children.
For more information or to meet Puddles, please contact his foster carer Carolyn on 0403653001 or email cazza1952@gmail.com. Puddles is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Puddles' adoption fee is $350 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
