About Barnaby
Gorgeous little Barnaby is an extremely friendly and outgoing young man. He is currently in care with young children and other dogs and is really enjoying his current lifestyle.
Barnaby is full of energy and enjoys lots of playtime and adventures. He is very inquisitive and happily follows his carer around so he is a part of all the action. He will be best suited to a home with another active dog who is young enough to keep up with him and will happily share their company. He will benefit greatly from having a canine friend to offer him guidance so he can continue to develop his confidence when he heads off to his new life.
After a busy day of running around and getting into mischief, Barnaby loves spending his quiet time relaxing with his carer. He is extremely affectionate and will never knock back a cuddle. He will happily snuggle on the sofa with you for as long as you let him. He is a very clever boy and has already learnt some basic commands. He knows how to 'sit' and 'wait' and is also toilet trained. He is currently offered a bed inside overnight and can usually hold on until his carer lets him out in the morning. Further training such as obedience classes are always a great way for your new friend to develop a special, trusting bond and help them understand what will be expected from them once they join their new family.
These adorable siblings came to us as shy little pups and have flourished and gained their confidence with the help from their loving foster carers. Regular outings and socialisation will be very important to help them to continue on this wonderful path. They are very friendly and will benefit greatly from new experiences.
Daily walks and regular exercise will be very important for Barnaby as he grows. Considering his mix of breeds, he is extremely active and will require lots of stimulation to keep his mind occupied and prevent his becoming bored and destructive when his family are busy.
Barnaby has been exposed to sheep, cats, chooks, ducks and other dogs in his foster home without any issues.
If you have a loving place in your home that you would like to offer Barnaby, please send us a message and we will be in touch shortly
Barnaby is currently in Ballarat, VIC
Medical notes
Barnaby has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. He has also received regular flea and worm treatment while he has been in our care.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
