Kadu

Oh sweet scruffy!
Kadu is sooo beautiful with her cute whiskers and scruffy coat. And the best thing is she has the personality to match. Kadu is a happy and friendly puppy who is keen to be friends with everyone that she meets. She is a favourite with the children at the dog park and she thoroughly enjoys the attention that she gets. Kadu loves pats and being told she is a good girl. She is also a fan of cuddle time on the lounge and will fall asleep snuggled up against her foster carer in the evenings while they watch tv.
Kadu has been well socialised while in care. She loves to meet and greet new dogs that she comes across and loves to play. Kadu enjoys wrestling at home with the other dogs in foster care and loves to run around the dog park. She is learning to come back to her carer when called but never goes too far away in the first place. Kadu is a moderately active pup who will require daily exercise and a yard to stretch her legs in. She will also benefit from ongoing socialisation and trips to dog parks/beaches to meet new friends.
During her time in care, Kadu has demonstrated that she is one smart little girl. She can sit, drop (lie down) and stay on command, and will even offer these behaviours if she thinks there may be treats around. Kadu is food motivated and willing to please so is easy to train. She picked up all her skills in just her first training session! Although she is such a good girl already, it is important that her new family continue her training. She could do puppy preschool but really would benefit from some obedience classes going forward. Kadu is crate trained, sleeps throughout the night, travels well in the car and is toilet trained. Jackpot right?!
We are looking for a home where Kadu will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities and outings. She will require another friendly and playful doggy companion in her new home and it would be also be great if someone is home a lot of the time as well to give her the attention that she deserves. Kadu should be allowed to be inside with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night out of the weather.
