About Po
Po is a funny, friendly girl who loves to gallop around and pounce on things like some kind of alien-cross-horse-cross-cat 👽🐴🐱. It is honestly worth checking her out just to see the way she plays! Po is also a bit of a smarty-pants🤓; she can sit patiently, recognises her name, and is quickly learning how to fetch. She needs regularly training though, especially as she loves to nibble on stray clothes or plants (or pretty much anything else - that pup can be creative!) when given a chance. She has been much better at this recently but needs an owner who will stick to his/her/their guns! Rewards also help as she is OBSESSED with food🍝🤗. Seriously that gurlll can eat. But our Po is also definitely not aggressive when it comes to food, she will eat alongside smaller dogs and does not try to steal their meal. She is very skilled in using kongs (doggie toys that release food slowly) which will keep her occupied (for at least a few minutes!). Po would suit most families, especially those with other dogs to keep her entertained and to plonk herself on top of in the most annoying way possible when sleeping. Make sure she gets to meet them first though as figuring out who's boss is very important! Po gets on well with new people and loves a snuggle 😍. Like any classy lady she prefers to make the first move; people who hold her tight or get in her face without her permission might cause a whimper or a growl. So play it cool! 😎 Ultimately we adore this beautiful girl and we know that you will too!! ❤️❤️

Adoption details
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home, or in a public place. If you have other animals they must be at the meet.
If at the meet, you and the dog get along- you have the option of either taking the dog on the spot (in exchange for the full adoption fee paid upfront, and contract signed)- or placing the dog on hold for up to 2 days without any holding fee applicable. When adoption begins you will be provided with 7 days' worth of food for the dog, as well as what brand and type of food it is, so that you may change their diet carefully and slowly, or purchase more, if needed.
*PLEASE NOTE we do not hold dogs for 3 days or longer, without a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the dog, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters and so you may miss out. We have had to make the deposit non refundable to avoid time-wasters, especially when it comes to puppies under 5 months of age. The $100 holding deposit is then subtracted from the outstanding adoption fee, which is to be paid at collection of the dog. Eg if full adoption fee is $450, and you pay a $100 holding fee so we can hold the dog for a week- the day you collect the dog you will sign and adoption contract, and pay the remaining $350 fee of which $50 is non-refundable.
During the trial period, should the pet become ill, you must present it to the OTC-approved vet clinic in your area and OTC will cover any treatment needed.
On commencement of the trial period, OTC will send you a copy of your signed contract, the vaccination cards, desexing certificate and microchip number implant details.
So. Ready to roll? Then fill out the attached short form, and we will be in contact to successful applicants asap. Feel free to follow us up via Facebook page inbox.
