I've been in foster care for a little while now. But I am ready to find my own home. I really am. I swear.
My foster dad loves to play games with me. I like the slow stalking game and I get so excited that I woo at him and talk. He likes to run around with me and tickle my back and I go around and around and zoom.
I'm looking for a home that understands me. I'm very strong. And I'm quite large but I am so loveable. Im not too high energy so a walk a day is enough for me. My foster family have taught me that I get to walk more if I don't pull on the lead. So I know how to walk now.
I also know how to sit. And stay. I know my name and I am pretty good at being off leash. But I wouldn't want to go to a home that wants me to frequent dog parks or dog beaches. I do enjoy other dogs but groups of strange dogs scare me a little bit.
I would be fine in a home with another dog, maybe a pretty lady. I like those
I have been tested with all types of dogs and I can say now that I still don't know how to play properly.
I'm not suitable to a home with cats. I find them a little too exciting and I hate upsetting my foster dad when I go to chase them. So best not to upset my new family.
I would do best in a home with kids who are dog savvy. I lean a lot. And I can forget my size and manners so I may knock someone over if I'm not too careful
But I really don't mean it promise
I can go to a home in the suburbs or rural. I haven't shown to want to get out. Or really I'm not too interested in escaping.
My foster dad has crate trained me and I love it. But it's not an essential for my new home. But I must say if I get to, that raw bones are my favourite so they uhm are definitely essential to my adoption.
I can be a little timid sometimes. But I just need some encouragement to move along. Not often but sometimes things can spook me. But I'm learning.
I am very male orientated. My foster dad is my best mate. So a home with a kind male who can adore me would suit well.
My foster family live in the hunter valley and I'm ready to go to my new home now too. So if you like my blurb please apply.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
