About Lucky ~ Staffy x puppy (On trial 18-8-2017)
Introducing Lucky, a 9 week old Staffy x who is a bundle of cuteness!
Lucky loves spending his time playing with his foster brothers and just wants to be one of the boys! He has been very well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and large) and gets along well with them all. He's met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them. Lucky will grow up to be a medium size dog.
Lucky is doing really well at basic training - he knows how to use a doggy door and will sit for his food. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Lucky. If you don't have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.
Lucky needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Lucky will be available to go to his forever home from the 25th August.
As Lucky is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Lucky please contact his foster carer Alicia at alicia.isaacs17@gmail.com or on 0411 151 811. Lucky is located in Port Stephens (north of Newcastle).
Lucky's adoption fee is $500 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
Happy and healthy puppy.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
