About Gibson DB098
Gibson is an incredibly sooky dog. He loves nothing more than to be curled up at your feet wherever you are or tucked up in bed with you on a lazy Sunday morning. He bonds quickly with his people, and he will become your shadow if you let him!
Gibson does better with other dogs in the home he gets on very well with male and female dogs as long as the human of the house is a strong leader.
He is very relaxed around the house and settles well when left for short amounts of time. He does get anxious when left for long periods, so he does need a home where he will have human company or the company of other dogs to play with while you are at work.
Gibson came to DBBR after walking onto a mine camp up in the northwest. He was lucky enough to be rescued by a foster carer working at the site and flown to Perth. At the camp, he had a rough time where we believe he was abused and this has left him nervous of children in particular. Because of this, we are looking for an adult-only home or a home with dog-savvy teens.
Gibson has been staying with cats in temporary foster care and has loved cuddling with them! He would be great in a home with dog savvy cats. He is also able to be with horses!
