About Mia
Do you love Cocker Spaniels? Do you have a big heart? Are you that special person who is willing to open your home to Mia who has an enlarged heart and requires twice daily heart medication?
Mia is an ex breeding dog, who has been discarded now that she is no longer any good for breeding. Lucky for Mia she made her way to Claws 'n' Paws where we believe every dog deserves a loving home regardless of age or medical condition.
Mia is very timid when meeting new people but once she gets to know you, she will welcome you home with a wagging tail. Mia doesn't like loud noises so requires a quiet home. She is content to laze around in a nice soft bed or sit in the sun.
Mia is very quiet and a really good listener if you would like a companion to chat to. She is toilet trained, fine with other dogs and couldn't care less about cats.
Mia 's medication is Fortekor Plus which she needs twice daily the approximate cost of which is $90 a month.
Due to her heart condition unfortunately Mia will not live a long life, the vet has estimated that she may only live 2 - 3 years but we hope that he is wrong. It would be lovely for Mia if her final years could be spent in a loving home of her own.
So are you that special person who can provide Mia with that loving home, she is a very sweet dog.
If so please contact her foster carer Lisa on 0412 142805, Mia is located on the NSW Central Coast.
Medical notes
Mia has an enlarged heart which requires twice daily medication, Fortekor Plus. She does also have luxating patellas but under veterinary advice surgery is not possible to repair them.
