About Jimmy ~ Jack Russell X puppy (On trial 18-8-17)
Jimmy the Jack Russell X is looking for his forever home. Jimmy is a happy and healthy 11 week old puppy. We presume that Jimmy will be a small to medium size dog.
Jimmy is a very very cute, clever little pup, eager to please and quick to learn. Jimmy has an adventurous spirit and his favourite game is tug of war.
Jimmy is in foster care in a family home with an adult female dog. Ideally, Jimmy would be happiest in a forever home with another female dog and / or a human who is at home more often than not.
Jimmy loves to be with people, to be cuddled, given pats and lots of affection. Jimmy needs to be welcome inside when people are at home.
Being young, toilet training is still underway. With love and patience Jimmy will learn quickly. We always recommend puppy training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise and training.
As Jimmy is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens. Jimmy will need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he is approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Jimmy, please contact Kathryn at krutiger@gmail.com. Jimmy is in Newcastle area, NSW.
Jimmy's adoption fee is $550 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
