About Arnhem
Look at that adorable face!
Arnhem is one good looking puppy with his beautiful markings and gorgeous coat. He has the personality to match too as he is a very friendly and happy boy. Arnhem loves people and enjoys meeting new people with his waggy tail. He is definitely a fan of the cuddles and attention that he gets from everyone. Arnhem is a playful puppy who likes his soft toys that he runs around with and his chew toys. He also enjoys exploring the yard and would love to go on lots of family adventures!
During his time in care Arnhem has begun socialisation with some other dogs. He has made great friends with the resident dog in his foster home and they play all the time. Arnhem enjoys playing chasing games and even tries to match her in tug of war. He will be a relatively active dog when he is older and must have daily exercise and stimulation to keep him happy and healthy throughout his life. Arnhem demonstrates typical working breed traits and must be provided with activities and stimulation that he can use as an outlet for these traits. He would thrive with a family interested in some form of dog sports.
Arnhem is beginning basic training while in care which involves having learnt to sit and he is now learning to walk on a lead. It is imperative that his new family are committed to continuing his training as this will not only teach him the things he needs to become a well-trained adult dog, but will also provide him with some of the stimulation he requires. Arnhem will also require continued socialisation with a range of dogs throughout his life and would benefit from trips to dog parks and beaches to meet new doggy friends.
We are looking for a home where Arnhem will be a part of the family and provided with the activities, exercise and stimulation that will meet his needs. He will require a home with another playful dog for company and it would be ideal if someone is also home most of the time to give him attention. At the moment, Arnhem is still learning to be independent and ok without the company of people around so he will require someone to be home a lot at least at first in his new home. He is currently in care with cats and chickens but definitely shows interest in them so it would be best that his new home not include them. Arnhem should be allowed inside to be with the family and must have a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
