About Akin
What a gorgeous boy!
Akin is to die for. He is so adorable with his gorgeous little face, chubby body and short legs. Akin is the type of puppy you just want to pick up and cuddle so it’s a good thing he likes that too! He is definitely the snuggler type. Akin can often be found cuddled up with his foster carer on the lounge after playtime. He shows you how much he likes the pats and attention with his waggy tail and happy face. Akin also likes to play and run around with his people friends. He enjoys playing with toys and particularly likes the leftover paper towel cardboard roll (cheapest toy ever!).
Akin has met a whole range of different dogs while in care and is well socialised. He is friendly with all the other dogs that he meets and enjoys running around with the other foster dogs. Akin also gets into some good wrestling games with his siblings. He doesn’t appreciate it if the other dogs are too rough with him but he is not afraid to let them know if that happens. Like any puppy, his socialisation should continue in his new home and visits to places like dog parks and beaches will let him continue to meet more doggy friends. He will have an average activity level when older and should be given some daily exercise to keep him happy and healthy, especially because he REALLY likes his food!
During his time in care, Akin has begun basic training. He is learning to sit for a treat as he loves these and walk on a lead. Being food motivated makes him easier to train. It is important though that his new family are committed to continuing his training as he is still young and has lots more to learn as he grows up. Akin is a good traveller in the car and is sleeping well through the night.
We are looking for a home where Akin will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities and outings. He will require a home with another friendly dog and/or where someone is home most of the time to give him all the cuddles and pats that he deserves. Akin should be allowed inside to be with the family and will require a warm comfy bed to sleep on a night out of the weather.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
