About Calypso
Just look at that sweet face!
Calypso may have had a bit of a rough life so far but this has not impacted on her beautiful personality. She is very sweet and loving. Calypso’s favourite thing to do is just hang out with her people. She is as loyal as they come. If you are watching tv, she is right there on the couch next to you cuddling in and set in for the long haul of whatever series or movie you’re watching. Calypso will take your stroking pats and attention all day.
Calypso does not have a lot of stamina when it comes to activity and exercise. She is definitely more of a couch potato. However, she still enjoys a short walk and definitely likes a game of tug of war. Ideally she should be taken out for a regular walk to keep her happy and stimulated but nothing too strenuous. Calypso does have some reactivity when the lead is being put on her so our trainer has showed us a way to make her more comfortable with this and help her become desensitised to the situation. This can be continued in her new home with ease and works well. Calypso is good with other dogs but would really rather be by herself with her people so that she can chill out and get all the attention. She also travels well in the car and happily joins you for outings.
Calypso has plenty of love to give her people and would just love to be your new best buddy to hang out with. Bring out food and she will pull at your heart strings with her well mastered puppy dog eyes! Calypso has good manners with food though and sits patiently in front of you for a treat. Overall, she is an easy going dog who is low maintenance and very loveable.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
