Hi, my name is Copper and I am a handsome 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier x Minie Foxie. It's nice to meet you!!!
I have had a bit of a rough start to life and would be best as an only dog but that doesn't mean I won't be the perfect companion for you. I can get along playing with most small dogs but big dogs make me a little nervous and it's best I'm not around them, please. I also do not do well with poultry or any small pocket sized animals such as guinea pigs.
I absolutely love people but I haven't yet had the chance to meet any kids.
I am a very smart boy who loves to learn. My possibilities could be endless with the right family. I am toilet trained and can use the doggie door to go in and out of our home.
My favorite thing to do is snuggle on the couch with you.
If you're looking for that perfect best furfriend to add to your life and you have an empty spot on the couch or your lap then maybe I'm the right little guy for you.
Adoption details
If you should chose to adopt a dog from SEQ K9 Rescue..
You will be asked to complete an adoption application.
Completing this form helps us to determine if the dog is suited to your circumstances. Some dogs have special needs so we are looking for the perfect forever home for all of our dogs needs.
After you have completed and returned the adoption application we decide if you are a good match for the dog you are applying for. Sometimes we may recommend another dog we have in our care.
Next we will arrange for your to meet the dog/puppy.
We ask that bring along your family and any other animals you have in your household. A yard check (or yard photos) will be checked and only then will approval be considered.
Please remember sometimes there are several applications for the same dog so this process may take up to a week.
The adoption fee must be paid before any of our animals are released from our care.
We also offer a 2 week trial period - if you have any issues with your chosen dog/puppy you must contact SEQ K9 Rescue via text immediately.
If for any reason the dog needs to be returned to, the adoption fee minus a $50 non refundable deposit will be refunded. Your refund will be returned via bank transfer within 10 working days.
If the pet is returned after the trial period generally no refund will be made.
Interstate adoptions may be requested to supply additional information and photographs of the proposed environment for the animal. Interstate adopter must pay transport costs in addition to the adoption fee.
If an animal is to returned from an interstate adoption, the adopter is to pay all costs to return the animal to SEQ K9 Rescue in Brisbane..
