Hi, my name is Barry, I am a gentle, loving, very well behaved, mature gentleman. I am looking for someone to love - as I'm really good at that. I love my walks and I walk nicely on a lead. I REALLY love car journeys, they are my favourite, I could sit in the car all day. I also love chilling outside in the garden especially if you are around. In fact I love being where you are (unless that involves a lot of loud noises as they scare me a bit - so if you are hammering or log splitting I would rather be in a quieter place. I've been told I have very good manners as I will sit and wait to be invited through a door or to eat my food - even when it is right in front of me.

I know obedience commands well and love to make you happy. I have had a few changes lately so please be patient with me while I learn exactly what you expect from me. I know I look big but I'm very sensitive so please don't shout at me or I will just want to go to my bed until I make you happy again. I'm very good at sitting on my bed, it's my safe space so like to go there if I'm not sure of something.

I would love a quiet, chilled house to retire to although I am good with other dogs and kids. I don't mind you leaving me for a while but I really want to be part of the family. I'm not a great fan of the vacuum - but then who is? I like to play with my toys (for short periods these days) I will sometimes remind you of that by gabbing my lead - but if it's not a good time just tell me "no". I sometimes even get excited when you invite me through the door and will give a little woof and skip.

If you want a loving, loyal mate then you need me in your life!! If you are a little patient with me I will do anything for you.
