About Jack
Please meet Jack!
This adorable boy is an absolute character with a very happy, loving and friendly personality.
He is still learning the meaning of personal space. He loves to cuddle and will sneak up for snuggles with you any chance he gets. The closer he is, the happier he is!
Jack is currently in care with young children and another dog and he loves them all. He has very high energy levels and loves all the games and activities that are currently offered to him.
Jack will be looking for a home where he has lots of room to run and will be offered daily exercise and regular outings to continue his socialisation and to keep his busy mind active.
Considering Jack is a very intelligent breed, he will benefit greatly from obedience training or some form of agility. He loves to run and has a lot of energy to burn so these events are a great way for him to be active, understand what is expected from his in his new home and to help him become the best dog he can possibly be.
Jack is welcomed inside in his foster home and has really nice manners when he is indoors. He is fully toilet trained and can hold on overnight. He always does his best to please his people and is quite well behaved. He is still young and sometimes get excited and will jump up to say hello. His carer is working on this and he is starting to remember to meet people in an appropriate manner.
He is an adorable boy, rarely barks and hasn't chewed anything while he has been with us although he sometimes enjoys a game of hide and seek and chasie and you may need to go looking for your shoe. This is easily resolved by keeping them out of reach.
Jack does know his name and has very good recall, he walks well on lead and sits wonderfully.
Jack will be looking for a home where he will have another young energetic dog to share his games and play time with. He will not be happy in a home as an only dog. He loves his canine friends and will become very bored and lonely without active companionship from a desexed doggy pal.
Jack WILL NOT suit a home with cats or other smaller animals as his Whippet instinct does kick in and he loves to chase anything that runs.
The perfect match for this sweet boy, will be with a happy, friendly canine companion and an active family who will share their outings with him. He is great in the car and enjoys lots of new adventures.
Please contact us if you believe you have the perfect place in your home for this adorable boy.
Jack is currently in Little River, VIC
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
