About Peanut
PEANUT
Sweet little Peanut is around 7 months old and he came into care with HNE in July after finding himself unclaimed at a regional NSW pound.
We’ve taken a stab at guessing Peanut’s breed mix and we think that he’s an American bull dog x staffy. He’s got a lovely thick coat and is on the smaller side of medium sized.
Peanut is making great progress with his basic training. He’s also toilet trained and crate trained. Peanut is great with kids and with other dogs. He’s very responsive to the energy levels and behaviours of other dogs and will tend to mirror them. He’s good with cats, but likes to play with them, so his suitability for life in an adoptive home with cats will depend on the cat.
Peanut is a very people-focused dog and would love a home where he can spend as much time as possible being involved in all aspects of family life.
Peanut is located in Melbourne, VIC. Interstate/out-of-area adoption is available (transport costs payable by the adopter).

Adoption details
Hear No Evil's Adoption process:
1st Step * You contact us to obtain an adoption application, and discuss the dog of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability.
2nd Step * A Meet and Greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and and current dogs is arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a Yard check to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - We understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
3rd Step *Payment of the Adoption fee in full. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records.
Transport arrangements are the financial responsibility of the Adopting party. Hear No Evil are happy to assist with departure preparations and ensuring the dog makes its transport connection.
Final step * Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted, and the adoption is officially finalised.
