About Polly ~ Shih Tzu X (On Trial 14/8/17)
Polly is an absolute treasure but she has had a bit of a rough trot. She was first rescued from RSPCA shelter in 2011 when she was four years old and has lived happily with her present owner until just recently. Her owner is terminally ill and has very sadly had to give Polly up for adoption once again.
Polly is a very healthy nine and a half year old Shih Tzu x Maltese. She is very loving and fully house trained. She has adapted well to her present environment which includes 12 other dogs. Polly is not a barker but does bark briefly when someone comes to the house.
Polly is a beautiful little girl that needs a loving home for her twilight years.
For more information or to meet Polly, please contact her foster carer Diane on 0425200721 or email dianecampbell4@optusnet.com.au. Polly is in foster care in Salamander Bay, NSW (Port Stephens area) and is available for adoption interstate.
Polly's adoption fee is $250 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
