Charley is a loving, gentle soul.
Charley came into the shelter with her little 2 month old kitten and presumably the father of her kitten. The family unfortunately had to be split up, as the Charley and her kitten weren't coping well in the shelter.
After a short stint in foster care however, Charley's true personality has come to light. While she is not a lap cat, she does like to be around people and will sit next to her foster carer on the couch.
Her foster carer also says she still has a lot of kitten in her, she loves playing and running around chasing toys.
As she is somewhat timid, she will need a new home which is quiet and she will take some time to settle in, so be prepared to be patient! The patience required for her may be too much for young children and being the only animal in the home would be beneficial as well.
For more information please phone (02) 8899 3333. For an adoption viewing to meet Charley, please contact the Kemps Creek shelter 10am-3.30pm, 7 days a week, to organise a meeting at the foster carer's home.
All AWL animals are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, health checked by a veterinarian, assessed by our behaviourists and treated for the prevention of fleas and worms.
