Mikey

Mikey is a gorgeous 1 year old Kelpie cross. He is loving, loyal and wants nothing more to be involved in whatever his people are doing, even if that means just sitting at your feet while you prepare a meal, watch television together or go for a run. He has a lot of energy but also enjoys his quiet time.
Mikey is a very fast learner and just wants to please everyone. He loves to play and run around, if you can't play with him he will happily entertain himself by throw his own toys around to catch them. He loves playing with his human foster siblings and tries very hard to be gentle, he does get easily excited. Mikey wants nothing more than to have friends, he's a very social boy and loves playing with other dogs, given his size and playful nature he would be better suited to a medium/large doggy friend if he's not an only dog as he doesn't always know his own strength (although he is currently in foster care with a small grumpy fluff ball which he manages ok with whilst supervised).
Mikey has recently learnt to sit and come when called, he's working on his other doggy manners like stay and being gentle when offered food. He loves to go for walks and is practicing not pulling on the lead.
Being a typical teenager Mikey pushes boundaries, He is a strong willed boy who will need a firm owner to provide consistent guidance and ongoing training but will be a loving, loyal and devoted friend and family member when provided this!
