About Gorgeous Gordy
Look at that adorable face and tell me you aren't already smitten. Gordy is everything you want a puppy to be - exuberant. enthusiastic, friendly and full of love. He has got some basic training and reasonable manners (he knows how to sit and will come when called) but of course will benefit from a family who are keen to invest lots of time into him so that he can grow up to be the best he can possible be.
Gordy's mum is a medium sized kelpie mix and his dad is a mystery man but based on his big feet, broad chest and chunky head we suspect a larger american staffy-type. So Gordy has some more growing to do and we expect he will sit around the 28 to 30kg mark when fully grown (but we can't make that a promise!)
Gordy is the perfect age for a family who are looking for a pup young enough to integrate into the family and bond from an early age, but who don't mind missing out on toilet training (he's got that one figured out!) or the constant chewing of a puppy who is teething.
This gorgeous boy will suit a home with people who want to include him as part of the family every day, where he will be allowed indoors as well as out and will be walked daily with regular trips to fun places like the dog park or the beach. Gordy will get along fine with another dog if you already have a canine family member, pending an appropriate introduction of course. He has not lived with cats but is young enough that a strong and confident cat could quickly teach him who is boss! And he hasn't lived with children but he would be fine with kids - as long as you understand that in his enthusiasm he could easily knock a small child over.
Gordy is a gorgeous all-rounder who will make a wonderful companion. Contact us today to arrange a meet!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
