About Lincoln (Adoption in Progress)
Please note: Lincoln and Villandra get along well and would make a great pair for a family. Or alternatively Lincoln would adjust well to a home with another dog for company.
Lincoln is a high energy, highly smart, always on the go kind of guy. He is HILARIOUS and has a very funny and entertaining personality.
Lincoln needs a lot of stimulation... and whilst he is extremely cuddly and LOVES to snuggle up on your lap...
But at this stage, He is not yet the type of dog you can take to a dog park/relax at a cafe with. At this stage, Lincoln barks and displays signs of aggression towards other dogs he meets out and about. With a controlled 'meet and greet' and doing his training, he can be introduced to other dogs really well - hence him ADORING his foster brother and sister.
His training has improved him dramatically - he can now walk past a dog on the other side of the road without him totally losing it and he has the potential to just get better and better as he is SO SMART AND EAGER TO PLEASE AND IS A PLEASURE TO TRAIN!
So we are looking for someone who is really excited about the challenge and committing to his training and furthering him to be the best lil Linky he can be. He has SO MUCH LOVE to give, and really deserves someone who is passionate about him and enjoying the journey with him.
Please note: our dogs are not available for interstate adoption. We also do not adopt to people under the age of 25 years.

All dogs that come into the care of Victorian Dog Rescue are tested for heart worm.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.

Unfortunately we usually will not have time to reply to enquiries in more detail and will give priority to completed applications over enquiries. Priority will also be given to typed applications which are easier for us to read and to copy relevant parts.
