Nina has been waiting at the pound for over a year now, overlooked simply because she is Big and Brindle. She has seen her doggy friends come and go, adopted into their own loving homes, Nina just simply wishes for the same, a kind loving home for herself.
After such a long stay at the pound her mental and physical state started to declined and she was getting depressed as time went past. One of the volunteers couldn't bare to see her in this state and contacted our team to help immediately. Nina is now in a foster home awaiting her turn to be chosen.
Nina has a beautiful and friendly nature, she is kind to all she meets and loves to play with other dogs so we would love to see her in a home with another dog. She has lovely brindle markings with hints of Boxer heritage.
She is a true water baby, loves her clam shell pools or the surf.
Nina has great manners, she sits and awaits her command before eating and does not cross any invisible threshold when instructed not to.
Nina just wants to please everyone and would be so greatful for someone to give her a second chance.
Medical notes
Nina has had the following vetwork completed:
~ Desexed
~ C5 Vaccinated
~ Microchipped
~ Heartworm Tested
~ Heartworm Treated
~ All-Wormed
~ Flea Treated
Adoption details
Adoption Procees for adopting a Lucky Paws Dog Rescue pet.
An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 3 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
The Adoption is the. finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email. Please note this cna take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
