About Roxy
My name's Roxy and I am one spunky girl!
I LOVE life - that means I love people, kids, dogs and fooood - yep I love everything! My exuberance for life can sometimes make me look like a bit of a goofball, but don't let that fool you, I'm actually a very smart girl who is eager to please!
You may have heard that sometimes humans let animals down, well that's happened to me. But don't worry, it hasn't dampened my spirit! It just means that I need someone who realises that although I'm a big girl, I'm really just a puppy at heart and need some help to learn all things that I haven't had a chance to.
I'm great with kids of all ages and other dogs, although if you have young kids you'll need to help me learn how to be calm and still with them straight away to make sure we can all live together happily.
I'm looking for an active home with people who have time to spend with me, and to take me out and about. My new family should either have experience training dogs, or book me into obedience classes straight away so we can learn together.
My carers all tell me I'm a very sweet, loveable and smoochy soul - I don't know what those words mean but I do know one thing, I LOVE people and can't wait to find some of my very own that will never leave me again!

Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
