About Blade
This gorgeous fellow is an absolute gentleman. He should be renamed Shadow since all his big heart desires is to be close to you.He will follow your movements through the windows and doors and when you are outside will walk along with you. He just absolutely loves being near people.
His lab qualities are very strong, most clearly in his love for naps, food and cuddles. He loves resting his head on your legs or lap when sleeping and will curl up right next to you when given the chance. Seriously, this boy is the biggest sook ever and just wants to be near his humans! Blade makes the funniest and cutest noises in his sleep including snoring and snorting and will grumble if his snoozes are interrupted before he is rested! When particularly excited (especially when you've come home after the day) he will snort and stamp his front feet in excitement. Such a lovely greeting when you return!
Blade is not dog friendly and while he might be ok with a calmer big dog, he will be a perfect only-dog and the most loyal and attentive companion you will ever meet. Perfect for a single person, couple, retiree or older folks. He is very low energy, walks excellently on lead but isn't too interested in walks or toys--is quite happy to laze the day away and get your cuddles when you are around. Extremely responsive, housetrained and enjoys going on drives.
He can jump low barriers so fencing of atleast 4-5 feet is reccomended. He does not dig (will roll around in the grass/dirt though).
