About Bindi
Bindi is an amazingly intelligent little puppy. She has a zest for life, is outgoing and loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home.
Bindi is a healthy 11-week-old Kelpie/hunting dog mix, who will grow to be medium-large in size. She's quite an active girl, but does settle quickly for a cuddle. She is doing well at sitting for pats, rather than jumping, and is often the first to do things amongst her litter mates - the first to approach a new dog, the first to sit for her food etc.
Bindi's litter was raised in foster care and the puppies have been very well socialised with people, dogs, and children. They currently live with 4 adult dogs who are helping their mother to teach them boundaries and social skills. Due to this, as well as Bindi being an active mix of breeds, it is highly recommended that an equally active, older dog is present in her new home, to help her settle and provide her with some company while you are out.
Bindi is starting to show interest in fetching, and is developing a nice prey drive to help with her training. She loves a game of tug, doesn't bother the sheep at her foster home and is often quite gentle around children.
Bindi will benefit greatly from going to regular puppy/obedience classes with her new owners to help her grow into happy, well-balanced, socialised and obedient adult dog.
Again, being quite an active young puppy, she will also require a family with an active lifestyle who can provide enough daily physical and mental exercise to ensure she doesn't become frustrated and/or destructive. Agility may be a fun hobby for her to get into once she finishes growing.
If you would like to learn more about this intelligent girl, we would love to hear from you!
Bindi is located in Ballarat.
** Puppies are always highly sought after, so please be patient while we work our way through enquiries as quickly as we can.
Medical notes
Bindi still requires her final vaccination.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
