About Zena ~ Bloodhound x Retriever (foster fail 6/9/17)
Hi my name is Zena! l'm a 1.5 year old Bloodhound x Retriever. I am still very young and willing to learn, I'm super smart so will learn quickly and need someone who is experienced with large strong excitable dogs like me.
I love cuddles and kids and I love to play ball in the water. I'm ok with the dogs I know but would be best suited with my own breed or as an only dog as I tend to be pretty stern with other dogs (my house, my rules!).
Like all young dogs I get excited and can jump up when people come around but like I said, I'm a smart girl and I'm sure with some further training I will be the perfect dog. I am a strong girl and will need a walking harness but if you offer me some pats and treats I'll learn whatever you want me to.
I have a lot of love to give and I will make someone a wonderful loyal loving companion.
For more information or to meet Zena, please contact her foster carer Sally on 0473522310 or email adamsonsally401@gmail.com . Zena is in foster care in Cameron Park, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Zena's adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
