About Yoda
Yoda is a gorgeous little boy with his big bat ears, pirate patch over his eye, short legs and long body. He is not going to be very big, but has a strong stocky body. He is hilarious when he's running after the big dogs, with his little legs going like the clappers. He is a really confident little guy, but he also knows how to relax and have a good cuddle. He been doing really well with his crate training (which I use overnight and when they need a rest), and he and his litter-mates ask to get up a couple of times overnight to toilet and then hop back in their crate and go back to sleep.
Yoda and his brothers and sisters were surrendered to the local vet when her mum was de-sexed on the community de-sexing program in Tennant Creek. While they looked a bit rough when they first arrived, they didn't take long for them to bounce back, and now he is growing well, looks great and is ready for his loving forever home. His weight at 14 weeks is 3.8 kg, so we estimate his adult weight, calculated by doubling his current weight and adding half his original weight, to be just under 10 kg.
Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Yoda's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide. She is currently in foster care in Elliott community.
