About Nutmeg
Nutmeg is a chocolatey blob of delicious doggy clay, just waiting to be moulded into the perfect little dog!
Nutmeg has grown up in a busy home with kids, cats and dogs and while she has been loved and cared for beautifully, she has lacked routine and reaffirmation of her training and this coupled with long term illness in her family has resulted in Nutmeg looking for a fresh start.
Nutmeg is a happy, active, energetic girl who would like to be someone’s constant companion. She wants to go where you go and do what you do and to get lots of exercise and stimulation in the process. While Nutzy loves other dogs, she can be quite bossy and in their face, so she’d need a confident doggy friend who is happy to play “bitey face” and chasey and who respects boundaries at meal time!
While she has grown up with cats, again she can be quite in their faces, so would again need a dog savvy and confident cat in her new home.
Ideally, Nutmeg’s new owner would enrol her in a basic obedience course and have plenty of time to reinforce her training so she doesn’t lose interest or get distracted. As a mostly non-shedding dog, Nutmeg will require regular professional grooming, which she is very used to.
While Nutzy does need some polishing around the edges, she is a fabulous little dog who will make a wonderful addition to the right home!
Nutmeg is in care in Langwarrin
Medical notes
Nutmeg goes to her new home desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and professionally groomed.
