About Scout
There’s not enough words to describe what an amazing, sweet and sensitive little soul our Scout is! We just adore her. Scout was rescued from Liverpool pound as a very young mum, with her 2 tiny puppies - when she was sadly only a pup herself. Her puppies have both found forever homes, so now it’s this gorgeous girl’s turn to find her forever home.
Scout came to us in February and has spent the last 5 months in our care, after a less than perfect start in life. She’s spent this time building her confidence and blossoming under the love and care of our carer into the gorgeous girl she is today. She’s totally come out of her shell now, and will continue to do so with the right forever home.
Scout is a very small Staffy X girl with beautiful brindle colours and a Kelpie type nose! Maybe we should have called her ‘snout’! ;)
She’s very affectionate and loves her cuddles (see the video in this profile!) – she sometimes thinks she's more of a lap dog! She also has the most adorable habit of talking to you when she wants a hug with a cute little woo-woo-woo sound!
Scout will continue to thrive with someone who can shower her with love and affection. Her special someone will be prepared to help keep building her confidence by understanding she’s a gentle girl who needs to take her time to experience new surroundings or things. In return she'll give you a whole lot of love back.
She gets on well with other medium-energy dogs and would love another doggy brother or sister, but that's not essential if you're prepared to be her very best friend. She'd also be happy being an inside / outside dog. Scout walks well on the lead and has no issues around food. She hasn’t been around too many kids in our care, but we have no doubt she’d be great with older, gentle kids. She probably wouldn’t like a crazy, noisy household with younger kids. She’d be perfectly suited to a family with older kids and a doggy companion; a retired couple who can adore her like the princess she is; or a quiet adult home, even perhaps with a home worker who can give her lots of time and love.
Are you Scout’s special someone? We know you're out there.... If so, please get in touch!
