Pluto

Pluto is the smallest of the Tennant Creek mob, but he has a charming personality and keeps up with the other puppies just fine. He is playful, calm and confident. While his early life was difficult, he is now thriving in every way. He is smart and easy to train too. Within the hour all his mob had stopped jumping up, and within a day they understood and anticipated the routine. He really appreciates some quiet time and a cuddle, and he is just so sweet and lovable. He was the first to start playing with the big dogs, so he is brave too.

Pluto and his brothers and sisters were surrendered to the local vet when her mum was de-sexed on the community de-sexing program in Tennant Creek. While they looked a bit rough when they first arrived, they didn't take long for them to bounce back, and now he is growing well, looks great and is ready for his loving forever home. Pluto is 3.5 kg at 14 weeks, so we estimate his adult weight, calculated by doubling his current weight and adding half the original weight, will be around 9 kg.

Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Pluto's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide. She is currently in foster care in Elliott community.
