About Jupiter
This lovely little girl is a calm and confident puppy. She is well socialised to children and to other dogs. She is currently in foster care in a home environment with 10 adult dogs and her litter-mates. She gets on really well with the big dogs thanks to her naturally excellent doggy manners. Jupiter really loves being part of the gang inside but is used to being left in a secure area with her littermates in working hours, and plays with the toys, and the other pups or cuddles down for a nice sleep in their bed. Even when I get home they wait patiently to be let out and don't make a racket.
She and her brothers and sisters were surrendered to the local vet when her mum was de-sexed on the community de-sexing program in Tennant Creek. While they looked a bit rough when they first arrived, they didn't take long for them to bounce back, and now she is growing well, looks great and is ready for her loving forever home.
Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Jupiter's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide. She is currently in foster care in Elliott community.
Medical notes
Jupiter will be wormed and heart-worm treated again just before leaving the Territory. She should be de-wormed fortnightly until 5 months of age and have at least 1 further heart-worm treatment after she arrives down south, before reverting to a normal worming regime.
Adoption details
We request that prospective adopters email us with an initial enquiry. We will forward an application form. On receipt of the application form, we will make phone contact to discuss the adoption.
