About Dax Hamilton
Dax is presently looking for his new best friend! This little Pug x Terrier is energetic, lovable, goofy and boisterous. He has a heart of gold and more energy than a tornado.
He’s presently in foster care with our trainer and is learning so much. He has started agility training – which of course, he has a natural ability for, and loves to play doggy sports whenever he can! He would love a home that would continue this fun, yet exhausting (for him!) training, and has another dog for him to play with. After all his human needs their rest at some point, right? But beware! Cats are not his favorite creature in the world. In fact, it would be best if his new home was cat free.
Because he has some separation anxiety, his crate is an essential part of him feeling safe and secure - it's his little den. Dax needs someone that is committed to limiting his distress and managing his separation anxiety in a positive way. But don’t worry, we will be sure to provide lots of support as he settles in with you.
So if you’re energetic, love to play, are experienced with dogs, and have the time and desire to continue to train him, you could be the one that Dax is looking for!
And if you're looking for a dog that will bring joy to your life and keep you on your toes, but then snuggle with you in the evening, and give you his full love and devotion, then Dax could be the one for you!
Medical notes
All Chihuahua Rescue Queensland dogs have been fully health checked by our vets. We offer a free post-adoption health check with Greencross Vets at Chermside, Jindalee, Browns Plains or Indooroopilly hospitals. This gives you the opportunity to talk directly to the vet about any questions you may have. We provide all veterinary records for each dog, including copies of blood tests, any relevant xrays and medical notes.
All Chihuahua Rescue Queensland dogs are desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. We test all our dogs for heartworm and treat them with regular parasite prevention.
