About Poppy *2nd Chance Cat Rescue*
Poppy was born five years ago in her foster carer's bedroom and from there on out her life should have been a charmed one. She soon found her forever home, or so we thought at the moment, but this week she was returned to us by the Keysborough animal shelter, where she was handed in by her owners. The reason they gave was that they were moving to a rental property.
At the moment Poppy is happy to be back with her old foster mum, but she is also quite confused about the turn her life has taken and, understandably, she is frightened as well.
Poppy is a devine cat, with a glorious coat of true red and fantastic stripes on her tail. She is extremely smoochy and very vocal. We've been told that she is used to children, but given the ordeal she's been through we would rather she found a home without very young children. She hasn't been around dogs, so we don't know how she'd respond to one. She has been around another cats long ago and she seems okay with her foster mum's cats, but once again, we're not entirely certain yet.
At the moment Poppy will need a lot of TLC and patience, but once she's settled into her new home she'll eventually be her old wonderful self again. She truly is a lovely, loving cat who deserves to be treasured by a person/couple/family who will provide her with a REAL forever home.
