About Wolf ~ Border Collie x Wolfhound on trial 26/9/17
Hi, my name is Wolf and I am a 4 and a half year old Border Collie x Wolfhound. I am very affectionate and am looking for someone to give all my love to. My foster carer thinks I am the sweetest, most cuddly boy they have ever met.
I am happy entertaining myself while my foster carer is at work by playing with my ball or having a nap in the sun. I am toilet trained and will whine at the door if I need to go outside to do my business. I am a very obedient boy and I know sit, stay, lay down, roll over, back up, come, drop, shake and bed. (see me in action in my video)
I love walking and I'm slowly learning not to pull on my lead as much and will always pay attention to my human if they want to tell me something. I will bark to let you know that someone is here to see you but I quiet down very quickly once I know you've noticed.
I love spending time with my foster carer inside curled up on the couch and they even let me sleep on their bed, but I'm happy on my own bed if I'm taking up too much room. I’m well behaved and no trouble. I have an allergy to beef, but not to worry as I love chicken even more!
I would be best suited as an only dog as I can be a bit unsure with other dogs - especially puppies. I'm a very attentive boy and would love it if my new family kept teaching me new things and reinforcing my good habits.
For more information or to meet Wolf, please contact his foster carer Mollie on 0409 571 170 or email mollie.blatch@gmail.com. Wolf is in foster care in Maryland, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Wolf's adoption fee is $350 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
